Drinking Window

The 2020 vintage is approachable earlier than some classic Brunello vintages but still has the structure to age well. Decanting for 2–3 hours will significantly improve the wine today, and it should continue developing through the mid-2030s. Community and critic feedback consistently note that the tannins soften and the complexity expands with air and bottle age.

International Shipping

Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.

Signature Policy

For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
