The Pinot Grigio Alto Adige DOC from Adler Winery is an exquisite expression of one of the noblest varieties in the Burgundy family of wine grapes. Thriving in the lightly clayey soils of the mid and lower Valle Isarco, this variety develops a unique strength and character that embodies the elegance of Alto Adige’s terroir. The careful selection of vineyard sites ensures the perfect environment for Pinot Grigio to reach its full potential, offering a wine of exceptional balance and depth.
A Harmony of Altitude and Soil
Grown at altitudes between 500 and 780 meters, Pinot Grigio vineyards benefit from the region’s sunny exposure and well-drained conditions. The gravelly, skeleton-rich alluvial soils are rich in diorite and quartz phyllite, lending a mineral complexity to the wine. These distinctive soils, combined with the ideal climate of Alto Adige, contribute to the wine’s unique elegance, structure, and aromatic finesse.
Precision in Vinification
Adler Winery crafts its Pinot Grigio with meticulous attention to detail. Delicate processing and gentle crushing of the grapes are followed by controlled-temperature fermentation to preserve the wine’s refined aromatics. Ageing on fine lees in stainless steel tanks imparts depth and a harmonious mouthfeel, while the absence of malolactic fermentation maintains the wine’s vibrant acidity and clean, crisp finish.

Title to, and Ownership of Alcoholic Beverages
Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

We may ship wine or sake, on your behalf, to some States in the Continental US. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com if shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
We cannot ship wine/sake to the following states: AL, DE, KS, KY, MI, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT.
Flat Rate shipping for $35 for all purchases under $500. For any order over $500, we offer free shipping.
International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
