Solid bouquet of ripe plum, currants, dried herbs as well as baking spices and smoked tobacco, graphite, and leather. Rich, mouth-filling ripe fruit with creamy berries, chocolate, and that classic cashmere texture we all love from this estate. A firm and focused, age-worthy style. Showing great concentration and complexity that will continue to evolve and benefit from a few years of cellar aging. Another beautiful mountain gem from the estate at VIADER. Drink over the next 15+ years. Age for at least 5 years to reach its peak drinking window.

A stunning blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon with the remainder Cabernet Franc, this is a world-class wine that needs about two hours in the decanter to get going. Once aroused, this offers a melange of anise, tobacco leaf, dark florals and dense dark fruits with a graphite edge on the nose. The palate is velvety and plush with a firm tannic and acid backbone. Layers of gorgeous black and blue fruits greet you with espresso grounds, loam/rocky soils and shades of Middle Eastern spices. While decadent and heady in its youth, this can benefit from some time in the cellar. Try to resist this beauty for another year or so. Drink 2025-2050- 98 points

By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
